Fruit Foraging: Citrus Season!

While I wait for my seeds to sloooooowly grow….

I’ve kept myself busy on the weekends by foraging for fruit!

It’s citrus season here in Palo Alto, and biking around the Stanford campus, I can find many a tree with ripe fruit free for the pickin’.

Last weekend, I found clementines, kumquats, navel oranges, pomelos, and mini pomegranates.

I came away with a surprisingly large bag of fruit that I’m still working my way through.

I’m planning to make another trip to campus today and will be sure to pick up more fruit while I’m there.
